CAC drawingHundreds of alumni, parents and friends of the college gathered on July 25, 2008 in the new Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center to be thanked for bringing CC nearly half-way to our goal in the Achieving the Vision Campaign. Amid the climbing wall, the oxygen bar, hot dogs, trout and freeze-dried ice cream the "climbers" donned their "Vision 2010, I'm In!" badges and gathered to hear Dick Celeste express his thanks, on behalf of the students, faculty and staff of the college. With $146,400,000 in commitments to the Achieving the Vision Campaign, and a fiscal year marking $22,600,000 in cash -- the largest single cash gift year in the college's history, we are all challenged to participate at the level that is right for each of us, following our personal CC passion. Each person left with a trail map, highlighting our progress and the way to the top. As President Celeste talked about the next steps of the campaign, he said, "we will get to that peak together -- we will DO IT!" Our students will count on you to continue to make your own commitments to this remarkable place. All alumni and parents should be sure they are "in" and will be invited to join in the big celebration in 2010 to when we reach the summit. It's easy to do online, by mail, or with a phone call to speak with someone in the development office at 800-782-6306 or 719-389-6752. (Click here to see a video of the thank you party.)

If you know of anyone from the CC community who has passed away, please send us notice by way of an obituary for our records and confirmation purposes. Email AdvanceServ@ColoradoCollege.edu
