
The 2010 application will be available in December. The registration deadline is April 3rd, 2010. Late applications will be considered.
Audition: Please submit an audio or video audition tape with
the application form. Your audition should be of high quality, approximately
15 minutes in length. Students applying to the Opera Track should include
three or four representative selections of arias, lieder, oratorio, and/or
operetta. Students applying to the Musical Theatre/Jazz track should include
three or four representative Musical Theatre, Jazz, or Pop works, including
one up-tempo piece, one ballad, and one belt number. Tapes of live performances
are acceptable, but not necessary. Resumes of experience and training
are welcome. Please include a current photo of yourself (professional
not required). Please send all application materials together.
Tuition:
- Full-time/Undergraduate college credit: For a fee of $2,545 participants attend all activities for three weeks to receive
1 unit of Colorado College credit (4 semester hours). For a fee of $1908.75, participants receive .75 units of Colorado College
credit (3 semester hours). If you are not a Colorado College student, you must also fill out the Colorado College Summer
Session Application, available by calling (719) 389-6011 or (877) 894-8727, or e-mailing summer@ColoradoCollege.edu. You
will also be charged an additional $50 application fee.
- Full-time/No college credit: For a fee of $1,500 participants attend all activities but do not receive a grade or college
credit.
Room and Board: is available for $1,173.
Scholarships: A limited amount of scholarship support
is available to eligible students. Depending on enrollment, late applications
may be considered. To apply, submit a written statement detailing your
needs along with your application.
Age limit: There is no upper age limit. The lower age
limit is high school seniors for the Opera Division and high school juniors
for the Music Theatre/Jazz Division.
