Welcome Back Sophomore Students!

The sophomore year can be both exciting and sometimes include some anxiety about the future. Many students still are very unsure about an academic area of interest or major. Perhaps over the summer you have had some time to think and you are headed in a new direction and now your schedule needs readjustment. The key is to be active. Don’t just sit around and let time pass.

Instead, take advantage of the resources that are available as you investigate your choices. In addition to your faculty advisor, I am available to answer any questions you may have regarding course selection, academic progress, major exploration, the new all-college requirements and any other concerns during your second year.

Pay attention to the Sophomore Events Series and list serve emails. We have created a wide variety of programs to assist in your decision making process and to help you to feel a sense of identity and pride during your second year here at CC.
