How to Prepare NOW for a Career in Nonprofits, Socially Responsible Careers, and Non-Profit Careers
The Center for Service and Learning and the Career Center co-sponsor a series of workshops on How to Prepare NOW for a Career in Nonprofits, Socially Responsible Careers, and Non-Profit Careers for students, with special emphasis for second year students. These workshops are designed to demonstrate how students can make the most of their time at Colorado College by building their resumes and gaining practical skills that will prepare them to enter the nonprofit world upon graduation. The workshops also give students a chance to meet and talk with individuals who devote their professional lives to helping others and those who participate in meaningful service along side of careers in the for-profit world. Watch the listserv for each of these workshops throughout the year.

Sophomore Odyssey: Wilderness Exploration Trip
Block Break II, Wednesday night - Sunday
Feeling in a funk? Or, just interested in spending some quality time in the outdoors? Using the outdoors and its many metaphors, this block break trip is especially designed to engage sophomores in a discovery of their interests, values, and strengths. This trip may include any or all of the following: rafting, hiking, camping, backpacking, and who know what else! But, absolutely no experience with the outdoors is necessary to have a raging time.
