Residential Focus

85% of students live on campus.

Housing is guaranteed for four years; students are required to live on campus until their senior year.

Residential facilities are staffed by residential advisors (students) and residential life coordinators. All coordinators have their master's degree in student life areas.

Financial Aid

In 2006-2007 Colorado College awarded more than $22 million to approximately 60% of its students. The average student loan indebtedness of a CC graduate is less than $16,000.

While the majority of college aid is need-based, we do offer some merit-based scholarships as well. These include the Barnes Chemistry Scholarships, the Barnes Natural Science Scholarships, and El Pomar Fellowship, which have additional application requirements. The Trustee Scholarships, CC Scholars, and the National Merit Finalist Scholarships do not require additional steps, (though the National Merit Corporation does have a separate process). There are also scholarships available through our two NCAA Division I athletic programs - women's soccer and men's ice hockey. Please contact the financial aid office at (719) 389-6651 or see the Financial Aid website for further details.
