Professor Hecox, an economist in the Colorado College Environmental Program and faculty director of the CC State of the Rockies Project. A CC graduate on the faculty for 40 years, he earned his Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University and has held positions as a Fulbright Scholar, consultant for the World Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development and National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Energy and Colorado Department of Natural Resources.
