Colorado College Summer Latin Institute

The purpose of the Colorado College Summer Latin Institute is to facilitate the growth of Latin as widely as possible. The program will help meet the needs of a number of groups:

Experienced Latin teachers from Colorado and out of state seeking either a graduate degree or continuing education in Latin.
Inexperienced teachers seeking certification in Latin.
Teachers of English and Social Studies wishing to expand their knowledge of the ancient world.
Teachers of other Foreign Languages who wish to add a Latin endorsement.
College students working toward a Classics major or minor in need of advanced language credit courses.

Teachers, please check on your eligibility for scholarships from the American Classical League.

The Summer Session at Colorado College offers the following advanced degree programs:

MAT in Humanities for Experienced Teachers (advanced courses in the Latin Institute will apply to this degree)
5th Year MAT in Latin program for Inexperienced Teachers* additional information on this program can be obtained from the CC Education Dept.
