GR 101--Elementary German, part I. An introductory German language course with emphasis on the four basic skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension. Language laboratory work required. 1 unit. Taught by either Koc, Davis or Wishard.
GR 102 -- Elementary German, part II. Continuation of GR 101. Students may test into GR 102 by taking the CAPE test in the Language Lab. 1 unit. Taught by either Koc, Davis or Wishard. (The sequence GR 101-102 is required for participation in the German Abroad Progam in Lüneburg which begins with GR 201 in block 5).
