The Spanish Department offers the Spanish major and the Romance Languages major (Spanish major with a second focus in French or Italian) along with the Spanish minor and the Mexico Today minor.  There are also numerous study abroad programs offered by the department.

The Spanish Department sponsors SOMOS, a student group that explores Latina/o, chicana/o, and Hispanic culture and issues.
