Description

NYC game designer (and 2012 CC alum!) discusses what it actually means to be a game designer, provides an inside look at the independent gaming scene, and will address how games (yes, even videogames) can be used towards activist and social justice efforts. The talk emphasizes expanding the definition of what games are, who plays them, who should make them, and how they can be used to engage communities. Discussion relevant to organizers, activists, creative-types, gamers alike!
