Our Members

Over 1,500 members have been a part of the 1874 Society since it began in 2003. Members represent a broad cross-section of the CC community: from New Zealand to New Mexico, and Tokyo to Texas; from the class of 1934 to the class of 1999; from parents of 1962 graduates to parents of current freshmen; from CC employees to Colorado Springs community members.

Despite their eclectic backgrounds, all of our members are linked by a shared passion for, and commitment to, Colorado College.

Jamie and Kristen Lummis

You may know 1874 Society member Mimi Kennedy P08 as Dharma’s quirky, hippie mom “Abby” in the syndicated series “Dharma and Greg.” While Abby was arguably her most prominent role, Kennedy has also appeared in dozens of movies, sitcoms and stage productions throughout her accomplished acting career.

Most recently she stars alongside James Gandolfini and Anna Chlumsky in the indie flick “In the Loop,” a hit at this year’s Sundance Festival. When “In the Loop” opened nationwide last month, it received rave reviews – including one from the New York Times here!

Mimi and her husband Larry Dilg are the proud parents of 2008 CC grad Molly. They were thrilled with Molly’s time at CC and are glad to help sustain that experience for future students by being members of the 1874 Society.
