Databases for all subjects

Academic Search Complete: Coverage: 1865 - current; Large database with extensive full text access to journals, in addition to abstracts and indexing. Subject coverage is general and broad.
Google Scholar: Coverage: N/A; Retrieves citations to a wide variety of research papers, thesis, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports. Check for possible full text by using Colorado College Links or Colorado College e-texts buttons next to the citations.
LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe: Coverage: 1977 - current; Access to popular press material such as newspaper articles. Also contains law review articles.
WorldCat: Coverage: N/A; Union catalog of libraries around the world. Use WorldCat to order items through Interlibrary Loan that are not available through Prospector. WorldCat is also useful for determining if a nearby library has a book or periodical that is needed right away, and for regional libraries not in the Prospector system.

How to

Renew borrowed items

Log into your TIGER account to renew any items borrowed from our library or a Prospector library. For materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, contact the Interlibrary Loan office.
Borrow from the library

Campus community members must have a valid Gold Card to check out materials. See further details for students, faculty, staff, spouses and dependents, alumni, affiliates of area colleges or universities and other Colorado residents.
Borrow from other libraries

If you can’t find what you need at our library, try Prospector to search and request items from regional libraries. You can also submit an Interlibrary Loan request to borrow from other libraries.

Connect to the wireless

The library network printers are called “tuttfirstfloor” and “tuttbasement”. To print to these printers, first you have to map them using these Help Desk instructions.

Access library databases from home
