More Solar
The dean of students’ house is the latest building on campus to be outfitted with solar panels. The recently installed 11 kilowatt array will produce approximately 17,000 kilowatt hours per year, helping to make the house carbon neutral. Colorado College currently produces 131,040 kilowatt hours of solar energy each year on campus, and efforts are underway to increase its solar capabilities.
