CC Cabin

The Stabler-Gilmore cabin, located 35 miles west of campus, was originally built by students in 1980. A new cabin was built in 1992, a year after the original burned down. The cabin has three bathrooms, 24 bunks, a commercial stove and sink, a large deck, and a large interior space for classes and other gatherings.

Classes, departments, and standing committees have the highest priority for reserving the cabin on weekdays. Organizations recognized or chartered by CCSGA or officially recognized by the college, as well as leadership retreats, athletics teams, and residence hall wings, have highest priority for weekends. These groups may reserve the cabin once each semester, beginning the first day of the block preceding the start of each semester. Individual members of the campus community may make reservations for personal use beginning on the first day of each block, for that block only.

For more information and guidelines on using the cabin, or to make reservations, contact the Worner Center and campus reservations manager at x6608.
