The Children’s Center

The Colorado College Children’s Center is committed to providing an on-site, high-quality early care and education program for the children of the CC campus and the local community. A professional and experienced staff creates a warm, loving, developmentally appropriate program for children ages six weeks to six years. The Center is committed to serving each child’s unique social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs.

The Children’s Center practices a philosophy of emergent curriculum, based on the interests of the children along with the teachers’ combined experience and training in Early Childhood Education. The curriculum encourages hands-on learning and investigation through a wide variety of experiences, and individual responsibility.

The Center operates 12 months a year and participates in the CACFP school lunch program with meals provided by Bon Apetit, the college’s food vender.

We are located at 931 N. Nevada Avenue. Our hours of operation are 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We can be reached at 389-6764.
