Center for Service & Learning

Hi! I'm Eleanor Mulshine, a sophomore from Washington, DC. I have yet to declare
my major, but I'm considering either Art History, International Political Economy,
or Sociology, with a minor in French. Before I came to CC, I spent a year in
Montpellier, France doing community service and learning the French language.
At CC I've been involved in leading the group STAND (Students Take Action Now
Darfur) as well as going on an Alternative Spring Break trip to New Orleans.
I love playing piano and running, too. I think the India trip will be a great
opportunity to learn about a culture different from my own and more importantly,
being able to do International Service. It will also be a unique experience
to participate in a project where the people we're helping will be able to maintain
our work even after we leave. I can't wait to come back with amazing stories
to share with the rest of the CC community!
