AH112 – Introduction to Art History

Introduction to Art History will provide students with the opportunity to design and curate an exhibition for the Unblocked Gallery in the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. As we delve into the social, political, and religious contexts of art and its production from the prehistoric era to our contemporary moment, we will critically examine and thoughtfully interrogate the ways in which the history of art has been written and understood through time.

Prerequisite: FYE Course. First Years Only. No credit after Art History 100.
