The German Department hosts several events throughout the year. These events are a great opportunity to practice your German or experience German outside a classroom setting. All are welcome to attend these events and several of them are free. These events include the annual German play, Kaffeeklatsch (coffee talk) and the fall and spring German film series.

GERMAN PLAY

Ein Loriotabend: Scenes from the Works of Loriot

The students of the German Theatre workshop presents "Ein Loriotabend: Scenes from the Works of Loriot." The caricaturist, film director and actor Loriot created skits that deal with humor originating from miscommunication and repetition. Scenes include: "Der Lottogewinner," "Herren im Bad," and "Das Frühstücksei."

Narration will be in English between scenes.
