Holds and Recalls:
A hold may be placed on an item that is already checked out by clicking on the “Hold” link in the TIGER catalog. This item will be held for you at the Circulation desk after the item is returned by the current borrower.
To place a recall for urgently needed items, please call or come to the Circulation Desk.
Items recalled for reserve must be returned immediately. Other items are subject to recall if the current borrower has had it for more than two weeks.
If an item is recalled, it must be returned as soon as possible. Fines will accrue at $5.00 per day.
Recalled items must be picked up within 10 days of the date of the notice of availability. If they are not picked up within this time, it will be given to the next person on the waiting list or returned to the shelves.
* Community Borrowers can not place electronic holds or recalls.
