Meet Our Staff
Jan Edwards, Director of Accessibility Resources & ADA/504 Coordinator
Much of Jan's career has been dedicated to supporting an educational environment that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion. She earned her BA in psychology from the University of South Carolina and MA in education from East Carolina University, and she has over 24 years of experience in directing disability support programs for college students. In addition to her expertise in working with students with disabilities, Jan has served as the director of a learning assistance center, an academic advisor, and an instructor of reading, writing, and ESL courses.
Jan, who has been at Colorado College since 2005, also serves as the college's ADA/504 coordinator. In this role, Jan assists the college in promoting and maintaining a campus that is accessible and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and guests of the college.

Sara Rotunno, Assistant Director of Accessibility Resources
Sara received her BA in sociology and elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado, and she furthered her educational journey by earning her MA in higher education at Saint Louis University. She began working at Colorado College in 2007 as a residential life coordinator and continued with Residential Life and Housing when promoted to the assistant director position. She is delighted to be part of a community that embraces student success.Throughout her careeer, Sara has been involved with student support through housing, programming, crisis management, and social justice initiatives. She joined the Accessibility Resources team in the spring of 2015 and is looking forward to continuing her work in serving CC's incredible students and its wonderful community.

Mateo Parsons, Intern
Mateo is a member of the Class of 2019 and is planning on seeking a degree in International Political Economy. A participant in speech and debate throughout high school, Mateo loves communication and appreciates the opportunity Accessibility Resources provides him in being able to interact with and support students connected with our office. Mateo is excited to have begun working in Accessibility Resources in the fall of 2015 and is eager to begin facilitating and championing student success as a part of the Colorado College community.
