Meet the Staff
ANITA PARISEAU, DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI RELATIONS AND ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADVANCEMENT
Anita is a native New Yorker. She earned her degree in communications management from Ithaca College and worked in journalism prior to her alumni relations career. Anita has 26+ years of experience in alumni relations from Wellesley College, Harvard University, Colorado School of Mines, and Colorado College, having been named the director of alumni relations and assistant vice president of advancement in April 2013. A lifelong learner, Anita’s passions are travel, the Great Outdoors, cooking, art, music, gardening, photography, and writing. She was honored when the Denver Post published a poem she had written about the Colorado wildfires in 2012 to appear alongside that of CC professor and then-Colorado poet laureate David Mason.
HEIDI KNOUS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF STUDENT & YOUNG ALUMNI PROGRAMS
Heidi is a Colorado native. A former college athlete, she graduated from Regis University in 2010 with a degree in business management information systems. Kristie and her family enjoy hiking and camping.
STELLA MAINAR, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF OFF-CAMPUS PROGRAMS
Stella comes from a family with proud ties to Colorado College -- her two older siblings are both CC graduates. She returned to Colorado Springs after completing her graduate studies in Sweden. Stella received dual master’s degrees in political sciences and development studies from Uppsala University. She received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Hanover College, during which she studied and worked in Turkey. Prior to joining the Alumni Office, Stella worked with the Butler Center at Colorado College. After working in a campus department integral to the student experience, Stella is excited to be part of the office and to connect with alumni across the regional chapters. During her time off, and at the office, Stella likes to turn up the music and dance like nobody's watching.
